HOW DOES EMBROIDERING YOUR OWN PHOTO WORK?

Cross-stitch is a timeless technique where you make cross stitches with colored threads on Aida fabric. At Stitched, we convert your photo into a detailed pattern of symbols that represent the cross stitches you will embroider.

You simply upload your favorite photo of a loved one, a pet, or a special moment. Our designers manually translate the image into a pattern and select suitable thread colors.

Then the magic begins: as you fill in the symbols one by one with the correct color, your photo slowly appears as a beautiful handmade embroidery.

COMPLETE EMBROIDERY KIT

Each Stitched kit contains everything you need to start immediately:

  • ✔ Aida fabric in the correct size (30×40, 40×50 or 50×70 cm)
  • ✔ Embroidery thread, sorted by symbol (10–30 colors depending on the photo)
  • ✔ Two embroidery needles — one for fine work, one for coarser passages
  • ✔ Fully personalized pattern on A4 or A3
  • ✔ Dutch step-by-step manual
