Personal data that we process

Stitched processes your personal data because you use our services and/or because you provide it to us yourself. Below is an overview of the personal data we process:

  • First and last name
  • Address details
  • Phone number
  • Email address
  • IP address
  • Photos you upload for your Custom Photo Embroidery Kit
  • Internet browser and device type
  • Bank account number
  • Other personal data you actively provide, for example through correspondence and by telephone

For what purpose and on what basis we process personal data

Stitched processes your personal data for the following purposes:

  • Processing your payment
  • Sending our newsletter and/or advertising brochure (only after explicit subscription)
  • To be able to call or email you if this is necessary to perform our services
  • To inform you about changes to our services and products
  • To offer you the opportunity to create an account
  • To deliver goods and services to you
  • Creating your personalized pattern based on the uploaded photo

Automated decision-making

Stitched does not make decisions based on automated processing that can have consequences for individuals.

How long we retain personal data

Stitched does not retain your personal data longer than is strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which they were collected. We retain order data for 7 years (statutory tax retention period). We delete uploaded photos after your order is completed, unless you explicitly consent to their retention for reference.

Sharing personal data with third parties

Stitched only provides data to third parties if this is necessary for the execution of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation. Specifically, we share data with:

  • Delivery services (PostNL, DPD)
  • Payment service providers (Mollie, Stripe)
  • Hosting partner (Shopify)

Cookies, or similar techniques, that we use

Stitched uses functional, analytical, and tracking cookies. A cookie is a small text file that is stored in the browser of your computer, tablet, or smartphone when you first visit this website. Read more in our cookie statement.

Viewing, modifying, or deleting data

You have the right to view, correct, or delete your personal data. In addition, you have the right to withdraw your consent to data processing or to object to the processing.

Filing a complaint

Stitched would also like to point out that you have the option to file a complaint with the national supervisory authority, the Dutch Data Protection Authority, via autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.

Stitched takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure, and unauthorized alteration.
